How PriceZilo is paid, what the fee does not buy, and why it is printed on the masthead.
The short version: the stall pays the market, never the shopper.
Press a notice on this sheet, land at a stall, buy something, and that stall may pay PriceZilo a share of the sale through an affiliate network. You pay the stall’s own price. Nothing is added, nothing is diverted, and the total at the till is exactly what it would have been had you typed the retailer’s address into your browser yourself.
Which links are paid
Assume all of them. Every Reveal code, every Get deal, every store name that leads off this site: treat each as a link the market may be paid on. Every outbound link carries rel="nofollow sponsored", which is the plain machine-readable statement that it is commercial.
What the fee does not buy
- It does not buy a place at the top of a list. Order comes from the size of the published discount, the closing date, or the alphabet — never from the rate.
- It does not buy a bigger notice, a mention on page one, or the stall of the day.
- It does not buy protection. A stall that files a misleading offer is taken off the sheet whatever it pays.
- It does not change your bill by one cent, in either direction.
What the desk is not paid for
PriceZilo is not paid to write anything in particular about anybody. No stall sees a page before it is published. No stall gets a right of reply, a correction on demand or a veto. The rate is agreed with the network before a word is written and it does not move with what gets written.
Where this is said on the site
A line sits under the masthead on every page. A second line sits above every list of notices. A third sits beside every reveal control, saying where it goes. The footer repeats it, and this page exists so that the full account is one click away from anywhere. The FTC asks that a material connection be disclosed clearly and close to the recommendation; the desk would rather say it four times than have a reader find it out afterwards.
Why it is done this way
An affiliate fee is the only reason a free deals sheet can exist. Hiding it would not make it go away; it would just mean readers judged the sheet without the one fact they need to judge it properly. So it is printed on the masthead, where a market notice belongs.
